At re:sculpt Personal Training, we believe that fitness shouldn’t just be about the results you are seeking, but the experience you go through as part of your lifestyle. Your resistance training sessions should be enjoyable and make you feel great. If you don’t like the gym environment, having to go to a gym to work with a personal trainer just isn’t what you want to be doing. And you shouldn’t have to. That’s why we bring our exceptional personal trainers online to you, to train you where you feel comfortable, whether this be at home, at a small private gym in your workplace, or at a suitable outside location. Resistance Training needs to be accessible and convenient for you, to fit with your routine, so that you feel like it is a positive addition to your lifestyle rather than something else you just “need to fit in”.

We offer flexible, bespoke training packages for resistance training. You won’t be tied into any contracts, and you can book as many or as few sessions as you like, because we don’t believe in forcing anyone to workout if they don’t want to. Your fitness needs to be your decision; we are here to guide you, teach you, and motivate you with quality resistance training. You can expect to feel challenged, inspired, and fulfilled from your sessions with re:sculpt.

Our focus is on female training. We want to help you lead healthier and fitter lives, to boost your self-confidence and self-belief, to encourage you to be the strongest version of you that you want to be.

Benefits of resistance training

Resistance training using either body weight, free or fixed weights or resistance bands, will build overall muscular strength, and also strengthen bones, joints and connective tissues. As we age, our muscle mass starts to deplete, and it’s important to perform resistance training 2 to 3 times a week to help prevent this. Otherwise, we can end up having difficulty performing even simple everyday tasks.

Resistance training is really great for injury rehabilitation purposes. You get to work on your technique during movements, monitoring your alignment and ensuring the correct muscles are actually doing what they are supposed to be. With resistance training, you can perform isolated exercises to help specific weaker areas recover and prevent further injury from occurring.

Resistance exercises can be executed at a variety of tempos. You need focus to sustain certain movements, to ensure you are performing them safely and to maximum effectiveness. And when the going gets tough, you’ll really need to concentrate to get through the last few repetitions. This toughens your mind as well as strengthening your body.

With resistance training you won’t just be building strength; you’ll be improving your muscle tone and sculpting your body all over. With nearly all resistance exercises, you’ll need to use your core strength and stability to perform them well, and you’ll find that this added core strength will do wonders for your posture.

As with all forms of exercise, regular practice will leave you fitter and stronger, both physically and mentally. This will in turn, decrease your risk of illness and injury. Your metabolism will be boosted, your heart will be healthier, you’ll be less likely to experience illnesses such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cardiovascular disease. You’ll also hopefully find that your body will be more able to withstand illnesses such as the common cold.

FAQs

Do I need previous experience?

No. We believe that fitness should be available to all, and we have excellent knowledge in technique instruction so that complete beginners can train safely and effectively. We will be right by your side, providing clear and constructive communication, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident at all times in your training sessions.

What if I don’t like it?

We’ll seek to understand what it is specifically you’re not enjoying and do our best to adapt accordingly. However, at the end of the day, everyone has their own likes and dislikes and if we’re not for you, that’s okay. You won’t be trapped in a contract or a package of 20 sessions to get through. You can take one session at a time and see how you feel. We’re about inspiring people to lead fitter lifestyles, however that journey goes.

Do I need my own equipment?

Your instructor will have their own equipment for you to use, but we’re also happy for you to provide your own if you prefer to do so. You may find that we work with a piece of equipment you love, and you want to be able to continue working with it in-between personal training sessions in your own workouts. In which case we can always seek to advise you on where to source the equipment and confirm you’re buying something that is worth the money.

What happens if I’m ill?

It happens, and we really don’t advise training when you are ill. It doesn’t do you any good, and it probably won’t end up doing the instructor any good either! We will aim to re-schedule your training session for when you are fit and well and ready to get your sweat on again.

How do payments work?

We request that all fitness sessions are paid for at least 48 hours before you are due to train. We’re serious about our fitness, and we want you to be too. If, for unavoidable reason, you are able to attend your planned session, we will aim to rebook you in as soon as possible so that you don’t lose out financially.
